What is a Synastry Chart?

A synastry chart is a tool used in Astrology to examine the relationship between the two & how they affect one another individually. It compares the positions of two people’s planets and other astrological points to gain insight into the dynamics of their relationship. The chart is created by superimposing one person’s birth chart over the other person’s birth chart, highlighting the points where their planets are in close proximity to each other. A synastry chart is the most common & known tool used in Astrology regarding compatibility, however, it is not as important as the composite & D9 chart.

What is a Composite Chart?

A composite chart is another tool used in astrology to understand the dynamics of a relationship, but instead of comparing the individual birth charts of two people, it creates a NEW CHART that represents the energy of the relationship itself. It reveals how you come together as a couple and how your relationship will PROGRESS. The composite chart can provide insights into the unique qualities and challenges of the relationship, as well as the overall purpose and potential of the union.

What is the D9 Chart?

The most important but underrated chart in astrology & especially in relationships, because this is your MARRIAGE CHART. This is your chart for later in life, age 35 + In Vedic astrology, the D9 chart, also known as the Navamsa chart, is used to gain deeper insight into a person’s relationships, marriage, and spiritual growth. It is believed to represent the soul’s journey and provide a more detailed picture of a person’s destiny and karmic connections with their partner, making it a useful tool for understanding the dynamics of a relationship.

The composite & the D9 chart are extremely important when assessing compatibility, as these two charts show the longevity of the relationship & its long-term outcome long term.

The KEY Houses

The Main love houses are: 5th (Leo), 7th (Libra), & 8th (Scorpio) Two fixed houses out of 3. Therefore most of the time, it is something we need to fix in ourselves to get the love we want.

Difference between 5th, 7th & 8th Houses:

  • 5th House = it’s a Leo expression. Where we start, when we are ready to date & love. Exploring our sexual desires & representing our teenage nature/time, puppy love & 1 nightstand.
  • 7th House = it’s a Libra expression. this is our marriage/contract house. 7H is squared by our 4H, which typically shows why a relationship will lead to a divorce.
  • 8th House = it’s Scorpio expression. It is about sharing with others, and learning how to trust our partner, till death. It is also the sex/intimacy house – knowing someone on a deeper level. It’s the house of soul mates (the house of the 2 merging).

Difference between 5th, 7th & 8th Houses

Importance of 9th House!!

9th House = is the last fixed house. it’s an Aquarius expression. It is the house where we give birth to our dreams & hopes. what happens here in a synastry & composite chart is super important & an indicator of the longevity & the relationship outcome. 9th House is sharing love on a higher level.
