What is Astrocartography?
Astrocartography is based on the idea that the alignment of planets and stars at the time of your birth can have a profound impact on your life. This influence is not limited to, your birthplace; it extends to different geographical locations as well. Each country has its unique astrological energy, which can affect various aspects of your life, including career, relationships, health, and personal growth. It is how the placements of the planets affect the energies we feel in certain places we live or visit, depending on our own birth chart.
It is a tool to discover what places around the world may be the best for us to live in. Astrocartography lines show, where your unique Astrological influences show opportunities for growth and highlight challenges or disadvantages also associated with particular areas.

- Where is the best/highest potential for making money
- Where is best for your love life or meeting someone
- Which countries/regions would be more challenging than others

There are two ways to use Astrocartography for travel & relocation:
- is an easy online free resource that anyone can explore & test out, astro.com. However, this method is very general method & doesn’t take into account the person’s chart & strength of their planet.
- A relocation chart is a new chart generated for the specific location you are interested in. This is a preferable & much more detailed method to help you decide what is best for you and where it isn’t. For this method, you will need an Astrologer, someone who can interpret the chart for you 😉
For this reading, I ask you to specify what you are seeking to get out of a location. Love? Abundance? Career advancement? & list of previous countries you lived in, and where are you interested in going next… I ask for previous countries, as I would be able to show you how accurate this method is, by predicting the theme, focus, struggles & even events that have occurred when you stayed there 😉
Exploring the list of all the Countries and their Astrocartography
Did you know that each city and country has its own horoscope and zodiac sign? Some countries have more than one zodiac sign and horoscope. Once you know what sign each country or city is (which I will share with you in this post), you can check and have a better idea, of which places are best for you to live in for different purposes.
DISCLAIMER
*** Please note that the method I share here is a simple technique you can play with, but it WILL NOT be an accurate representation of your own Astrocartography. You will need an Astrologer to look at your birth chart & analyze the chart for you. There is another technique, which is much more accurate, where a new chart is generated for you for each city, but like I said you will need an Astrologer to interpret that for you.
Please don’t use this by looking at the countries with your sun/moon sign or any other planets! The sign of the planets in your birth chart DOES NOT equal the planet lines in Astrocartography! 🤦🏾♀️
Yes, you can pull your Astrocartography map for free online, but the line has to be interpreted based on the dignity of the planets in your chart & your chart as a whole!
For example, if you find out your Venus line on Astro.com, that doesn’t mean all the countries that go through that line are great for your love life!! If your Venus is afflicted by hard aspects then NO.
Also, what does Venus rule in your chart?! What houses?! Maybe your Venus rules your 12th house. Therefore, the Venus line will be a place where you will spend a lot of time alone, in introspection, maybe meditating, connecting & learning more about spirituality, or getting high on drugs! It all depends on the sign, houses & aspects in your chart!
THE LIST
A natal chart or birth chart is produced for a place when it’s founded or established. For instance, Great Britain’s ‘birthday’ is the 25th of December 1066, so it’s Capricorn.
A Simple Technique To Use:
First, check your Sun sign. The Sun rules one’s career, achievements, and goals in life, so if you want to be stimulated into success and career growth, you can go and work in a country or city ruled by the same sign as the one in which your Sun is in. For example, my sun is in Scorpio, & guess where I completed all my higher education towards a career, England. Specifically Liverpool & Newcastle, are Scorpio cities!! 🦂♏️
** KEY NOTE: This will NOT be a good placement for you if your Sun is negatively affected; e.g. conjunct Saturn or South Node, or if it’s weak, in the sign of Aquarius or Libra.
Then Check your Moon sign. The Moon rules your emotional well-being, material comfort, and home, hence for many people planning to relocate, they can feel very much at home and settle easily and comfortably in a city or country ruled by the same sign as your Moon. It will be a good place to invest in property or land as well or to have a family. My moon is in Virgo, guess where I like to call home these days? 😉 Mexico 😄
*** Again as previously explained with the Sun, this will NOT apply if you have a weak Moon or negatively aspected Moon.

Additional Tips:
- Look for your best planet & go to the country/city that is in that sign
- Doesn’t matter what sign, the most important thing is a good planet: Go to the country that is in the same sign as your best planet in the natal chart
If for example, you have Saturn in Cancer – don’t go to America.
But if you have Venus, Jupiter, and Sun in Cancer then America will be good – great.
Or if you have a good Moon in good aspects: then America will also be good because the Moon rules Cancer.
- Avoid Sun countries with your Mars sign, unless your Mars is strong
- Don’t go to that same sun sign country as your Saturn, you might not like it – Unless you have a good/strong Saturn
